The Maintenance Department of Coffee County works to provide a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for the people to conduct their business while visiting one of our facilities. Our goal is to always strive to ensure the County’s property investments preserve their highest value.
The Maintenance Staff consists of Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians. Their duties include maintaining and repairing all County buildings located throughout Coffee County. They are responsible for any construction, remodeling, and renovations authorized by the County Commission.
They monitor certain contractual services to ensure that all requirements are met. In addition, they also serve as Election Custodians responsible for the placement and maintenance of all County voting machines.
Our janitorial needs are handled on a daily basis by our custodians.
Any citizen who has a request for maintenance or janitorial need for a County Facility is encouraged to contact the County Engineer's Office at (334) 894-6112. The County Engineer's Office is open Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After hours, requests may be left on the answering service.
