Disaster Kits

Getting a disaster supply kit is easy. Getting through a disaster without one is not. In addition to making a family disaster plan, have supplies on hand to last each person at least three to five days. It's a simple, low-cost, but important step to getting ready.

  • One gallon water per person per day
  • Canned or packaged food
  • Battery-powered radio
  • First aid kit
  • Flashlight
  • Manual can opener
  • Extra batteries
  • Toiletries
  • Blankets or sleeping bags
  • Prescription medications
  • Special items for infant, elderly or disabled members of the household
