By Resolution dated October 4, 1993, the Coffee County Commission adopted rules and regulations providing  for mandatory public participation in and subscription to a county-wide program for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal pursuant to Alabama Code of Law, 1975 § 22-27-1, et. seq.

The following are violations of the Coffee County Solid Waste Program and the code sections associated with them. For more information on Code Section 22-27-2- (2)(3), please click here to be directed to the full text code section.

Failure to Participate

• Alabama Code of Law 1975 § 22-27-6 (b) 
  • By failing to subscribe and participate in the Coffee County Solid Waste Program, with the violation of this article such failure has constituted a public nuisance due to he/she having generated solid waste, garbage, or ash or as defined in Section 22-27-2 (2), (3)

Failure to Pay for Services

• Alabama Code of Law 1975 § 22-27-5 (a)(e)
  • By utilizing the solid waste disposal system of Coffee County, Alabama, and failing to pay the fee, rate, or charge established by the county commission or therefore, he/she having generated solid waste, garbage, or ash as defined in Section 22-27-2 (2), (3)

Violation of Provisions

• Alabama Code of Law 1975 § 22-27-3 (d)(e)(t) by dumping, burying, burning, disposing and hauling of garbage  in violation of the Coffee County Solid Waste program, he/she having generated solid waste, garbage, or ash as defined in Section 22-27-2 (2), (3)
