The Revenue Commissioner's Office is responsible for the following:
- Assessment of Property
- Assigning Homstead Exemptions
- Assigning Current Use Land Classification
- Calculating Ad-Valorem taxes on Real Property and Buisnness Personal Property
- Issuing Manufactured Home Registration Decals (October 1 through November 30)
- Collecting Ad-Volorem Taxes on Real Property and Business Personal Property (October 1 throught December 31). Taxes are delinquent after December 31 penalties and interest accrue beginning January 1.
